A New Era of RVing: The 36th Annual Western Area Jamboree Moves to Tulare, California!

For over three and a half decades, the script for early-year RVing in California was set in stone. If it was winter or early spring, thousands of rig owners packed up and pointed their dashboards toward Indio. The Riverside County Fairgrounds served as a legendary home for generations of travelers.

But change is part of the open road, and the Western RV Association (WRVA) is officially opening an exciting new chapter.

Mark your calendars, double-check your tire pressure, and prepare to head to the heart of the Golden State. The 36th Annual Western Area Jamboree is officially moving to the International Agri-Center in Tulare, California, from April 7 to 11, 2027!

Whether you are a seasoned full-timer, a weekend warrior, or someone looking to buy your very first coach, the "Cruisin' USA" 2027 Jamboree promises a massive evolution in fun, community spirit, and accessibility. Here is everything you need to know about this historic relocation and what to expect from the 2027 rally.

Why the Move? A Fresh Lanchpad for the RV Community

After 35 incredible years in Indio, the WRVA Board faced a pivotal choice. As rigs have evolved and the RV community has grown, the infrastructure required to host a premier, multi-day event has shifted.

The board carefully evaluated several top-tier facilities across the West coast, hunting for a venue that combined modern amenities, expansive spaces, and geographical convenience. The hands-down winner? The International Agri-Center in Tulare.

By shifting the rally from the southern desert to California’s Central Valley, the WRVA is making the Jamboree exponentially more accessible to a vast network of RVers coming from Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, Nevada, and beyond. Tulare offers a centralized focal point that dramatically cuts down travel times for a massive portion of the West coast membership.
